A few rants before the holiday

We have made it to the end of on hell of a year. This one was a doozy. People are in all sorts of ways right now. Every minute on the news we hear another 10,000 jobs were cut, another bank going under, taxpayers bailing out another company that spends its bailout on corporate retreats, blah blah blah. So the world is a little nutty right now. That we can’t change.

But the holidays are here and that we can do something about. Let’s vow to take a few days out here and just be happy. Let’s spend some time with our friends and our crazy families and just be happy being. Someday this mess will be over and all of this will be a distant memory. Learn from our mistakes and live a better life tomorrow. That we can control.

2009 is next. What is going to happen then? Who knows. We just wanted to let you know that our 2009 will be spent the best way we can. We hope to be there for you in the upcoming year and look forward to getting to know you better.

In the meantime, have yourselves a tremendous holiday season. Eat, drink, smoke, indulge, abstain, interact, live, love and be merry until it hurts. We will! See you in the new year folks!
